While I do agree that customs/tradition gets in the way of our modern lives, I also think its beautiful in the way it gives us all (everyone in the world) an identity to cling onto when all is lost.

I honestly wish we could adjust customs that easily and as quick but you know how it is. Society always has a hard time going out of their comfort zone.
